Hosted by the CSAC (California Student Aid Commission) Cal Grant  A, B, or C, is a California grant with the main purpose of assisting the financials of eligible students attending CSU and/or UC. The student must be a dependent of a parental figure regardless of personal status as parental tax information is required to calculate the reward sum. 

To qualify, one must complete the FAFSA or CA Dream application to gauge financial need according to household income and size. another involved factor is GPA, which can range from 2.0 to 3.0 depending on what grant you qualify for.
