The memorial is in the funding stage to honor men and woman who died in uniform serving their country and lived in the following areas will be honored by having their names on the Garner Veteran’s Memorial:  Town of Garner, St. Mary’s Township, Panther Branch Township, eastern part of Swift Creek Township and southern part of Raleigh.​   http://www.garnerveteransmemorial.org/​
