If you're interested in following the trail, do so! Research, edit away, and then, if the misconduct just doesn't seem to be there, write your findings and delete the "possible misconduct" tag. If it's there, delete the "possible misconduct" tag and add an appropriate one such as "financial misconduct," "official misconduct," "censure," "scandal," "Police misconduct," etc.
