The Pacific Renaissance Plaza is a mixed use complex of residential, commercial and civic spaces. It the location of the Asian Branch of the Oakland Library and the Oakland Asian Cultural Center.

The plaza and surrounding buildings were an early redevelopment project in Oakland. As is frequently the case, one of the contentious items was the inclusion of affordable housing. However, that was also the top priority of the local community, and a result, 50 out of 250 units are affordable. Another high priority of the local community was the Asian Branch of the library.

The complex occupies much of the double block on 9th Street between Franklin, Webster and 11th Streets. At the center of the plaza is a fountain which turns on precisely at 10am.
