The Florence Block was a small commercial building at 362-366 - 12th Street. The building was constructed in 1893, designed by John J. Newsom and Thomas D. Newsom. 1

It's unknown exactly when it was demolished, but a 1990 article about buildings in danger of being demolished following the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake states "Oakland has already lost the Florence Block..." 2
