There's a glorious new (as of fall 2014) public bike repair station on Broadway in front of Awaken Cafe.
It has a pump, wrenches, screwdrivers, allen keys, and a tire removal tool. Also, in a touch of brilliant design, the station itself is a bike repair mount (you can put your bike up on it).
