Philip B. Sullivan was a World War I veteran and operated a plumbing and heating business from his home at 44 Neil Street; he retired in 1972.

SARANAC LAKE - Philip B. Sullivan, 90, of 44 Neil Street, died early Sunday morning, May 30, at the General Hospital of Saranac Lake.
He was born Aug. 29, 1891, in Alderbrook, the son of John and Rose (Fox) Sullivan.
Survivors include his wife, the former Winifred Howard, whom he married in 1921; four sons, Philip (Hoot) and Peter, both of Saranac Lake; Dr. John Sullivan of Syracuse; and Robert Sullivan of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Pelletieri and Mrs. Margaret Campion, both of Saranac Lake; Mrs. Winifred Yorkey of San Jose, Calif.; and Mrs. Ann Loftis of North Branford, Conn.; 26 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Sullivan had been a life long resident of this area and attended Coyne Trade School in Chicago and Albany Business College.
He received his plumbing license in Wisconsin in 1913 and had owned his own plumbing business in Saranac Lake for many years, retiring in 1972.
He was a life member and past grand knight of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus; a life member and past commander of the American Legion; a life member of Elks Lodge 1508 and was voted Elk of the Year in 1979. He was also a life member of the East Branch Rod and Gun Club.
Mr. Sullivan was a World War I Navy veteran.
American Legion, Elks and rosary services have been held and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held this afternoon at 5 at St. Bernard's Church with the Rev. John Yonkovig officiating.
Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
Contributions may be made in his memory, to the donor's favorite charity.
Local funeral arrangements were with the Fortune Funeral Home.
