Millicent Pierce

Miss Millicent Pierce, who was head of the rehabilitation department at Trudeau Sanatorium, died early Saturday morning at East Dennis, Cape Cod where she had been living with her oldest sister, Gladys. She was 65 years of age.

Miss Pierce came to Trudeau as a patient, became the rehabilitation director, and remained until the sanatorium closed. Later she directed rehabilitation at Gaylord Sanatorium in Connecticut, a place developed on the same pattern as Trudeau.

It has been suggested that friends wishing to remember Miss Pierce make contributions to her church, the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans, Mass. in which she was particularly interested, in care of the rector or in care of Miss Evelyn Brannen, 2 Cliff Road, Saranac Lake. Or, contributions may be made to the Cancer Society, Heart Fund or any other charity.
