Associate Professor of Geography and Director of MSCED (Master of Science in Community and Economic Development) at UCA. (Research interests include urban layout/planning, economic promotion, and transportation infrastructure in small cities of Arkansas; US-Mexico trade and related infrastructure; Suburbanization in the US and Mexico).

Jazz bassist and composer.  Member of the Conway Composers Guild (CCG).

Member of the City of Laredo Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board (BPAB).
