Description:
The former bunker of the federal government, which is situated in the valley of the river Ahr, opened its nuclear blast-proofed gates as a museum.
For those interested in history and those less so, this is a great tour and insight into the madness of 'secret' projects and its on our doorstep. If going its worth trying to book in advance as they will offer in English and for families but you need to organize it beforehand. It's a bit cooler inside in summer, so it's best to have jeans and sweatshirt. It is closed in the winter.
