The Boise Balloon Classic is an annual hot air balloon festival traditionally celebrated in Ann Morrison Park during the second half of summer.   Mr. Scott Spencer Founder/Director vision for the Boise Balloon Classic is "When we see families arrive in the Ann Morrison Park... some still in their PJ’s wrapped in blankets to enjoy a mass launching of hot air balloons we feel like we have reached the mission goal of the event."   The hot air balloons vary from traditional shaped bulbs to three dimensional animals and objects such as a house or dog.   This is an annual celebration that draws thousands of spectators and participants each year.   It is a good plan to arrive early to find the best place to witness the massive envelopes of all the different hot air balloon's rise into the morning sky. Hot air balloon picture from backyard during Boise Balloon Classic
