Enjoy viewing over 3,500 works from the museum’s permanent collection which include 17th-20th century portrait and landscape paintings, New Orleans silver dating from before the Civil War, and contemporary Inuit artwork. Special exhibits are always featured: Coming in January 2009, an exhibit of the work of the French sculptor, Rodin, promises to be fabulous. Check the website regularly for special events and programs; Third Thursdays mix evening art viewing with live music and a cash bar!
