The Lake Merritt Boat Landing (aka the E18th Street Pier) stands on Lakeshore Avenue and East 18th Street on Lake Merritt, located in Oakland, California. Designed by Walter Reed and constructed at a cost of $20,000, the boat landing was built in 1914, around the same time as the Pergola (also designed by Reed) at the eastern arm of Lake Merritt, Oakland, California.
