Pearl W. Tubbs was a nurse at Trudeau Sanatorium for 20 years. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Lawrence State Hospital in 1919. Her husband, Frederick Tubbs, died February 1944.  She operated a cure cottage at 51 Lake Street in the 1920s and 30s-- the cottage was later known as the Eagle's Nest.  She lived at 10 Catherine Street in the 1960s.
